A bride in Australia chose LAM’S to make her wedding dress without ever setting foot in the studio. The distance was the hard part; everything else was the usual careful work.
Made online, from Saigon to Australia
The fabric was an imported satin, chosen together over video. Every measurement came from the bride herself, taken with LAM’S guiding her on a call, and the studio worked through each one carefully — because on a remote order the fit rests entirely on those numbers.
A simple dress, and what came back after the wedding
The design was pared back: satin, minimal, elegant. When the photographs from her wedding day arrived, the dress had done exactly what it was asked to do. She told LAM’S it fitted better than she had expected — which, for a dress made from measurements alone and flown across the world, is the whole point.
Measuring from Australia
We send measuring instructions with pictures and take the measurements together with you on a video call; in some cases we ask you to measure again so the two sets can be checked against each other. The pattern is cut for your measurements alone, never from a stock shape, and the dress is sewn exactly to them with no extra fabric left for later alterations — which is why measuring is the most important step.
Before and after it travels
When the dress is finished, before it is packed, we photograph it and send you those pictures: the finished dress, not stages of production. It is folded in layers with anti-crease padding, wrapped against moisture and sent with a carrier chosen for that route, with a tracking number. If something feels off when you first put it on, it is most often the way the dress is being worn, so we guide you through wearing it correctly first and fine-tune only if it is still needed.
