Long-sleeved wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and full skirt, made online for a bride in Korea

The bride was in Korea, LAM’S was in Saigon, and the two of them only ever exchanged messages. The whole dress was agreed that way — and it fitted.

Working one to one, in writing

She sent the styles she liked along with her wedding date; we came back on the silhouette, the fabric and the cost, and everything was settled before work began. No long specification document — but the person answering her messages was the person who sewed the dress.

Measuring across a few thousand kilometres

We sent an illustrated measuring guide and then measured together on a video call. Fabric and samples went in front of the camera so she could see the fall and the true colour with her own eyes. The dress is sewn to those measurements with no allowance to let out later, so this is the step we are most careful about.

How the dress travelled from Saigon to Korea

Before shipping it was folded in layers, padded against creasing and wrapped against moisture. Each route gets its own courier and always a tracking number. The photographs we sent were of the finished dress, taken just before packing. One note for brides far away: we do not take rush orders, because there is shipping time and time for you to try it on and tell us. The schedule is counted backwards from the wedding.

Fitting without a single fitting

The pattern is cut for your measurements alone, never from a stock shape, and the dress is sewn exactly to them with no extra fabric left for later alterations — which is why measuring is the most important step. When the dress is finished, before it is packed, we photograph it and send you those pictures: the finished dress, not stages of production. It is folded in layers with anti-crease padding, wrapped against moisture and sent with a carrier chosen for that route, with a tracking number. If something feels off when you first put it on, it is most often the way the dress is being worn, so we guide you through wearing it correctly first and fine-tune only if it is still needed.
