Who actually makes your dress? The owner of the studio does

A question brides often ask before deciding: who is it, in the end, who makes this dress?

The short answer

Your dress is made by the owner of the studio herself. The person who advises you, the person who builds the shape and the person who finishes the dress are the same person — so what you describe in a message does not get lost passing through intermediaries.

Why this matters more when you are far away

If you are ordering online, everything you want exists only in messages and video calls. If there were three or four people between your message and the dress, details would fall away along the route. Here there are none: the person reading your message is the person drafting the pattern and finishing the garment.

When it is done, we photograph the dress unretouched and send it to you before packing — so what you see is what you will receive, not a picture that has been worked on.

What that means for you

The video call is where she advises on designs and shows you fabrics on camera. The design and the cost are then settled in messages. Your pattern is cut for your measurements alone, never from a stock shape, and the dress is sewn exactly to them with no extra fabric left for later alterations. When the dress is finished, before it is packed, we photograph it and send you those pictures: the finished dress, not stages of production. If something feels off when you first put it on, it is most often the way the dress is being worn, so we guide you through wearing it correctly first and fine-tune only if it is still needed.
